Description

A rare and one-of-a-kind swivel top stacking trunk, circa mid-20th Century. Features a rectangular frame made from American pine with metal banding and three compartments. The top section opens via the lid and swivels away from the body of the chest to reveal a second compartment which swivels open to allow access to a larger third compartment. Beautifully designed with incredible action! The trunk is cedar lined and rests upon ogee-style feet with a 's' scrolled accent.

Very Good; Gently Wear from use and age. No key for the outer lock
