Late 19th century black and white etching by Henry Pruett Share. Landscape of a tree edged country road with a hay wagon approaching a small wooden bridge. Remarke of a scythe, lower right. Pencil signed, lower right. Signed in plate, left. Paper embossed, lower left. Dark beveled wood frame with carved detail; no mat.

"Henry Pruett Share - Artist. Born in Los Angeles, CA in 1853. Share left California in 1875 and moved to NYC. For many years he was art editor of the New York Herald and New York World.
