The "Shou" symbol is a Chinese character that represents longevity, or long life, and is a very popular auspicious symbol in Chinese culture. It is also associated with good luck and prosperity and is often incorporated into art, decoration, and celebrations, especially for birthdays and holidays. It can be stylized in various ways, sometimes incorporating elements like the peach of immortality, and is frequently paired with the symbols for good fortune (Fu) and prosperity (Lu) to form the Sanxing, or Three Star Gods of Luck.
