Vintage Georgian Style Scalloped Mahogany Starburst Inlaid Pedestal Side Table

Description

Eye-catching vintage mahogany pedestal side table stands on an elegant tripod base featuring carved scrollwork details and classic pad feet. The central pedestal features a striking, spiral-twisted barley twist column that adds fine textural detail to the piece. Its most distinctive feature is the unique scalloped, starburst-shaped top, which showcases an elaborate starburst veneer inlay pattern. This multi-toned wood marquetry radiates outward from the center in alternating triangular wedges, creating a dramatic geometric sunburst effect. The table is finished with a deep, polished reddish-brown stain on the base and outer edge, highlighting the contrasting lighter wood grains of the central inlay and making it an exceptional accent piece for a traditional living room or library.
