1906 Antique Art Nouveau Zsolnay Pécs Hungary Eosin Glazed Children Figure 10"

Description

Up for sale is a beautiful, authentic piece of Hungarian art pottery from the world-renowned Zsolnay Pécs factory. This classic Art Nouveau sculptural group, originally modeled in the early 1900s, depicts a heartwarming scene of two children holding hands. One child stands in a long dress while the other is bundled in a full hooded cloak.

The piece is coated in Zsolnay’s celebrated and closely guarded Eosin metallic luster glaze. The surface catches and reflects light brilliantly, shifting seamlessly through a rich spectrum of luminous gold, emerald green, and deep metallic undertones.
