Description
Late 20th Century Harden Furniture cherry buffet sideboard or buffet. A beautifully crafted example of Federal or Hepplewhite style reproduction cabinetry, boasting a rich, polished warm-brown finish. The piece features a distinctively curved, bowed front facade that is mirrored by its expansive top surface, which highlights a decorative, cross-banded grain border. Structurally organized with five smooth-gliding drawers, it contains a wide, shallow central drawer positioned over a gracefully arched apron flanked on either side by a stacked pair of side drawers. High-quality craftsmanship is showcased through robust, machine-cut dovetail construction visible on the drawer sides, while the exterior is adorned with brilliant, polished brass batwing-style hardware, including a small central escutcheon plate. The entire buffet is raised on four slender, square tapered legs that terminate into spade feet.
