“An illustrator and painter of oil on canvas, Greg Singley (b. 1950) has worked as a newspaper illustrator in Phoenix, Arizona, and then living in California continues his painting career with work that inlcudes impressionist floral painting and portrait commissions.
During the years in Arizona, Singley also painted Native American Indian and cowboy subjects He said: "It was the works of Paul Pletca and Fritz Sholder that brought me west. "In his pursuit of illustration Singley founded the Phoenix Art Group."
His work appeared in the film Waiting to Exhale and numerous TV broadcasts. Designer Betty Lou Phillips features Singley's work in her book French Influences. Singley was also invited to present his painting technique in the magazine International Artist, June/July 2005.”
