Description

Mid to early 20th century scorched bamboo occasional / accent table with painted lacquer top. Made of tortoiseshell patterned bamboo with an inset black lacquer top stamped with a semi-abstracted chinoiserie design of a hummingbird flying through foliage and a stalk of flowers. Lower shelf is topped with tooled embossed floral / acanthus leather.

Condition

Fair; cracks/chipping to top; wear and distressing from age and use.
