Description

Rustic Chinese Chinoiserie wooden laundry tub/wash basin/planter - oval shape with slatted barrel-like sides, supported on four gently curved legs/feet, and banded with three rows of rope twist iron cords. The interior base is impressed with a trio of overlapping flowers. Circa Qing dynasty late 19th and early 20th century.

Condition

Wear and distressing, interior base not attached, some chipping to wood / splitting.
