French Louis XV Carved Mahogany Bonnet Top Wedding Armoire Hanging Wardrobe 95"

Description

Vintage French Louis XV / Provincial style wedding armoire or wardrobe, circa last quarter of the 20th century. Made of mahogany featuring baroque styling with a foliate carved bonnet top crown over a floral bird theme. The armoire has paneled doors set around oval carved floral cartouches with flower baskets and fruit and berries designs. Interior opens to a space for hanging garments. Shelves could be added if preferred. The cabinet rests on foliate carved cabriole legs that are set between a floral carved apron.

Condition

Good Overall; Gentle wear and distressing from age and use. Warping to right door, doors close but lower side hangs out slightly from warping.
