Description

A very large and impressive antique Italian majolica, faience pottery centerpiece monteith bowl, compote, or punch bowl from Nove (or Bassano), Italy, often associated with the Antonibon Manufactory or GBV Nove, dating from the 19th century. An oval, fluted, and ribbed pedestal bowl featuring a scalloped and lobed rim with blue-trimmed edges, polychrome floral bouquets, including tulips, pansies, and yellow blossoms, alongside delicate botanical and trailing vine accents.
