2 Antique German Cavalry Regimental & Reservist Lithopane Porcelain Beer Steins

Description

An impressive pair of German military lithopane steins. Colorful with bold scenes and ornate figural lids.

One was for a Watchmeister (Wachtmeister is a military rank of non-commissioned officers) for the1st heavy cavalry regiment for prince karl of Bavaria and the other a Reservist for the Navy

Both feature a lithopane in the base showing a soldier and a young woman hand in hand with buildings in the background. One signed 6/83 Europe/Luzern, Dr. Wm. A. Miller. One simply marked Made in Germany.
