Description

A spectacular Piano or Organ stool from the American Empire period, circa 1840s. Feature a mahogany frame with crotch mahogany (burled) veneer. The square frame seat features a Southwestern Kilim upholstered seat and is supported by a graduated turned base leading to thick "C" scrolled feet. Seat adjusts by turning.

Condition

Good Antique Condition; age and use related wear, chip to lower side of wood on base before it meets the feet.
