Pair of rare mid to early century Jaroslav Brychta Bohemian Czech hand blown art glass circus elephants with saddles and red balance balls.

Born in 1895, Jaroslav Brychta was a glass sculptor and teacher at various glassmaking schools in Železný Brod. Born in 1895 and trained at the School of Applied Arts in Prague, Brychta is particularly remembered for his glass figurines. Brychta was also the father of Jaroslava Brychtová, a glass sculptor and creative partner of Stanislav Libenský. Brychta died in 1971. Made by the Zelezny Brod glassworks, also known as Železnobrodské Sklo (ZBS), and designed by Jaroslav Brychta
