The oval oil painting is on canvas and features a pleasant seated Carolina painted before her marriage wearing a blueish velvet jeweled dress with crossed arms. Framed in an oval wood gold finished neoclassical frame with ribbon design along the top. Labeled and dated along the backside in Dutch.

Condition
Good antique condition with general use related wear. The frame is heavily bowed with wear the gilding and a split to one of the ribboned accents along the top. The canvas is in mostly good cood condition with light crazing. Some heavier crazing by the arms and a few blemishes.
